Home to the world famous Brixham Fish Market and many
a tale of pirates and smuggling, this colourful working fishing
port is a beautiful place with incredible scenery.
Watch the local fisherman landing their daily catch on the
harbour or even better book one of the early morning fish
market tours and follow it all the way from the sea to your plate.
There’s plenty to see and do here with a spectacular programme
of award-winning events, festivals and markets in addition to a
great choice of accommodation, independent shops and new
restaurants offering a wide choice of food and drink.
Climb on board the life-size replica of the Golden Hind and
uncover tales of the past at Brixham Heritage Museum or Brixham
Battery and Gardens. Breakwater Beach is a favourite spot for scuba
diving or take a dip in Shoalstone Pool, Brixham’s outdoor seawater
swimming pool – one of only a few left in the country.
If you love walking, then visit the breathtaking Berry Head National
Nature Reserve and discover an array of wildlife and history.
